Liu finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Liu defeated Leslie Rogers (Edmonton, AB) 5-1, then went on to lose 6-5 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Liu responded with a 6-4 win over Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB). Liu won 6-3 against Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Liu earned 1.260 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Crestwood Ladies Fall Classic, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 19.618 total points. Liu ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.010 points earned so far this season.
