7-5 to Sarah Wark (Victoria, BC), droppimg another game, 6-2 to Alberta's Crystal Webster. Gushulak lost 7-4 to Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) where Gushulak responded with a 7-1 win over Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC). Gushulak won 7-4 against Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 8 of the event schedule, Gushulak did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 78th to 80th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 8.775 total points. Gushulak ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.375 points earned so far this season.
