Gim finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim lost 5-4 to Kristy Lewis (Vancouver, BC), then responded with a 9-5 win over Dailene Sivertson (Victoria , BC). Gim won 4-3 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC), then won 8-3 against Stephanie Prinse (Chilliwack, BC). Gim went on to lose 7-3 against Cissi Ostlund (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Gim earned 3.105 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Hub International Crown of Curling, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 30th place overall with 34.805 total points.
