To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Sherry Middaugh won 8-6 over Ontario's Erin Morrissey in the semifinals of the 2014 StuSells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and won 10-3 over Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals.

In their opening game, Ontario's Sherry Middaugh defeated Erika Brown (Madison, WI) 9-5, then won 8-5 against Ontario's Rhonda Varnes and 9-5 against Nova Scotia's Heather Smith. Ontario's Sherry Middaugh won 7-5 against Inglis in their final qualifying round match.
