Hartung went on to lose 6-4 against Dieno. Hartung lost 7-6 to Kevin Marsh (Saskatoon, SK) where Hartung responded with a 6-2 win over Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hartung earned 3.210 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic, remaining in 57th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 26.600 total points. Hartung ranks 53rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.210 points earned so far this season.
