Tomi Rantamaki (Hyvinkaa, FIN) qualified for the 2015 German Masters playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-2 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). of the 2015 German Masters in Hamburg, Germany;

Rantamaki finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rantamaki defeated Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER) 6-4, then won 5-4 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, UK). Rantamaki went on to lose 7-3 against Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Rantamaki responded with a 8-7 win over Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
