In their opening game, Pfister lost 7-6 to Alexey Tselousov (St-Petersburg, RUS), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Thomas Scoffin (Edmonton, AB) where Pfister responded with a 6-2 win over Mike Libbus (Calgary/Black Diamond, AB). Pfister won 6-2 against Sean O'Connor (Calgary, AB), then won 8-3 against Seung Min Kim (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Pfister earned 1.875 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Original 16 WCT Bonspiel, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 43.819 total points. Pfister ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.375 points earned so far this season.
