Brent Pierce (Kelowna , BC) lost 6-3 to Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the Weatherford Curling Classic, held November 28 - December 1, 2014 at the Estevan Curling Club in Estevan, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Pierce won 7-1 over Kevin Marsh (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2014 Weatherford Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-1 over Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Weatherford Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Pierce finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Dean Clark (Regina, SK) 9-4, then went on to lose 8-4 against Marsh. Pierce responded with a 5-3 win over Laycock. Pierce won 8-2 against Hyde, then won 8-5 against Jamie Schneider (White City, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Weatherford Curling Classic, Pierce take home 6.300 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 42nd place overall with 37.022 total points. Pierce ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.615 points earned so far this season.
