Drew Heidt (Kindersley, SK) finished 2-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt defeated Ryan Skjerdal (Weyburn, SK) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-5 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). Heidt lost 5-2 to Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) where Heidt responded with a 7-2 win over Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Heidt went on to lose 9-4 against Clint Dieno (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 14 of the event schedule, Heidt did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 137th to 142nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 7.131 total points. Heidt ranks 128th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.210 points earned so far this season.
