Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) qualified for the 2014 Weatherford Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-1 against Brent Pierce (Kelowna , BC). of the 2014 Weatherford Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Hyde are currently 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hyde defeated Tyson Verbeem (Weyburn, SK) 9-1, then won 9-8 against Scott Bitz (Regina, SK). Hyde went on to lose 8-6 against Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Hyde responded with a 7-2 win over Trent Walter (Estevan, SK). Hyde went on to lose 8-2 against Pierce. Hyde responded with a 7-2 win over Terry Marteniuk (Yorkton, SK). In their next game, Hyde plays.

Hyde earned 2.700 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Weatherford Curling Classic, moving up 67 spots the World Ranking Standings into 191st place overall with 3.975 total points. Hyde ranks 106th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.975 points earned so far this season.
