Joe Frans (St Thomas , ON) won 5-2 over Jake Walker (Brampton, ON) in the Final of the Brantford Nissan Classic, held December 4 - 7, 2014 at the Brant Curling Club in Brantford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Frans won 5-3 over Mark Kean (Brantford, ON) in the semifinals of the 2014 Brantford Nissan Classic in Brantford, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-4 over Brent Ross (Harriston, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Brantford Nissan Classic in Brantford, Ontario, Canada;
 
Frans finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Frans defeated Craig Shinde (Mississauga, ON) 5-1, then won 6-1 against Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON) and 5-1 against Mike Jakubo (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Brantford Nissan Classic Championship title, Frans earned 11.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 33rd place overall with 45.345 total points. Frans ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.885 points earned so far this season.
