Jensen finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jensen defeated Staehli 7-6, then won 7-2 against Tommy Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Jensen went on to lose 5-3 against Jani Sullanmaa (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Jensen responded with a 6-2 win over Ulrik Damm (Hvidovre, DEN). Jensen won 6-4 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Copenhagen International, Jensen take home 3.325 world rankings points along with the $2,112CDN prize, remaining in 35th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 40.857 total points. Jensen ranks 113th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.325 points earned so far this season.
