Kathy O'Rourke (Charlottetown, PEI) won 7-2 over Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Curl Atlantic Championship, held September 11 - 14, 2014 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, O'Rourke won 7-5 over Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals
 
O'Rourke finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, O'Rourke defeated Veronica Smith (Charlottetown , PEI) 9-0, then won 4-3 against Sarah Rhyno (Halifax, NS) and 6-2 against Heather Smith (Halifax, NS). O'Rourke won 8-4 against Marie Christianson (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curl Atlantic Championship Championship title, O'Rourke earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 3 of the event schedule, O'Rourke did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 100th to 101st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 4.000 total points. O'Rourke ranks 228th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.000 points earned so far this season.
