Bowser finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bowser defeated Serge Reid (Kenogami, QC) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-1 against Ferland. Bowser responded with a 6-4 win over Steven Munroe (Quebec, QC). Bowser won 9-5 against Ghyslain Richard (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
