In their opening game, Dropkin defeated Ethan Meyers (Duluth, MN) 7-5, then won 7-0 against Tyler Runing (Fargo, ND) and 5-3 against Tina Persinger (Fairbanks, AK). Dropkin won 7-6 against Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Bernick's Miller Lite Open Championship title, Dropkin earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 81st place overall with 13.888 total points. Dropkin ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.800 points earned so far this season.
