Vukich finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vukich defeated Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA) 5-3, then won 4-2 against Todd Birr (Blaine, MN). Vukich went on to lose 7-4 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, ON). Vukich responded with a 6-5 win over Minnesota's Mark Haluptzok in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Bernick's Miller Lite Open, Vukich take home 1.250 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 170th place overall with 4.113 total points. Vukich ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.250 points earned so far this season.
