Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 7-5 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the Final of the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, held March 12 - 15, 2015 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-2 over Cissi Ostlund (Karlstad, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2015 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 7-4 over Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
 
Homan finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB) 6-5, then won 5-0 against Suji Kim (Seoul, KOR) and 6-4 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Homan won 5-4 against Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB). Homan went on to lose 8-5 against Tirinzoni in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown Championship title, Homan earned 16.080 world rankings points along with the $12,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.994 after improving upon their best so far this season. Homan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 169.815 points earned so far this season.
