Calvert finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert lost 9-2 to Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 6-4 win over Kyle Foster (Winnipeg, MB). Calvert won 6-5 against William Kuran (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-6 against Justin Stanus (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-6 against Cole Peters (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Nott Autocorp Thanksgiving Charity Open, Calvert take home 2.975 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 89th place overall with 11.350 total points. Calvert ranks 63rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.350 points earned so far this season.
