Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) won 9-3 over Tommy Sullivan (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel, held October 10 - 13, 2014 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Fitzner-Leblanc won 5-4 over Mike Callaghan (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2014 Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and won 6-5 over Peter Burgess (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia;

Fitzner-Leblanc finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fitzner-Leblanc lost 7-3 to Paul Dexter (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 7-5 win over Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS). Fitzner-Leblanc won 7-1 against Doug MacKenzie (Halifax, NS). Fitzner-Leblanc went on to lose 5-3 against Mike Robinson (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Alexander Keith's Men's Cashspiel Championship title, Fitzner-Leblanc earned 5.000 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN first prize cheque, moving up 49 spots the World Ranking Standings into 103rd place overall with 9.380 total points. Fitzner-Leblanc ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.000 points earned so far this season.
