Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) 5-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against Michele Jaggi (Berne, SUI). Paetz lost 9-3 to Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) where Paetz responded with a 5-3 win over Jaggi. Paetz went on to lose 7-6 against Tirinzoni. Paetz responded with a 5-4 win over Feltscher in their final qualifying round match.
 
Paetz earned 5.800 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the EM-Trials, remaining in 12th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 95.279 total points. Paetz ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 36.260 points earned so far this season.
