Jialiang Zang (Harbin, CHN) finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zang defeated Kenny Thomson (Naseby, NZ) 12-5, then won 5-3 against Australia's Ian Palangio. Zang went on to lose 9-3 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Zang responded with a 12-1 win over Randie Shen (Taipei, TPE). Zang won 11-2 against Viktor Kim (Almaty, KAZ). Zang went on to lose 9-8 against Soo-Hyuk Kim (Gang Won, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships Championship title, Zang earned 11.250 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 71.931 total points. Zang ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.000 points earned so far this season.
