Ogasawara went on to lose 7-4 against Kim. Ogasawara responded with a 7-4 win over Liu. Ogasawara won 7-4 against Farley in their final qualifying round match.

Ogasawara earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 65.726 total points.
