Wade Kingdon (Iqaliut, NU) 9-2, then won 6-4 against Gary Oke (Corner Brook, NL) and 7-4 against Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS). Kirkpatrick won 5-3 against Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, NONT). Kirkpatrick went on to lose 7-6 against Jamie Newson (Charlottetown , PEI). Kirkpatrick lost 6-5 to Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON) where Kirkpatrick responded with a 8-3 win over Tom Wharry (Montreal, QC). Kirkpatrick won 6-3 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT), then won 6-4 against Wes Craig (Mill Bay, BC) and 8-5 against Jared Kolomaya (Gimli, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
