Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC) finished 3-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gibson lost 7-5 to Stephanie Prinse (Chilliwack, BC), droppimg another game, 13-4 to Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) where Gibson responded with a 10-2 win over Kristy Lewis (New Westminster, BC). Gibson won 6-5 against Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC), then won 10-3 against Prinse. Gibson went on to lose 7-5 against Knezevic in their final qualifying round match.

Gibson earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 147th place overall with 2.713 total points. Gibson ranks 120th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.650 points earned so far this season.
