Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC) finished 1-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shimizu defeated Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) 8-2, then went on to lose 4-1 against Sarah Wark (Victoria, BC). Shimizu lost 12-0 to Knezevic. Shimizu lost 6-5 to Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
