Prince Edward Island's Anne Merklinger 14-11, then went on to lose 8-6 against British Columbia's Vicke Collins. Alberta's Jill Silverthrone lost 8-7 to Nova Scotia's Susan Myketyn where Alberta's Jill Silverthrone responded with a 11-2 win over Newfoundland / Labrador's Cathy Bradbury. Alberta's Jill Silverthrone won 11-6 against Sheryl Keely (Kingston, ON). Alberta's Jill Silverthrone went on to lose 8-5 against Manitoba's Patti Vanderkerckhove. Alberta's Jill Silverthrone responded with a 6-4 win over Saskatchewan's Colleen Rudd. Alberta's Jill Silverthrone won 8-4 against New Brunswick's Denise Lavigne, then won 4-2 against Quebec's Diane Ness in their final qualifying round match.
