Jacobson went on to lose 7-4 against Laycock. Jacobson responded with a 8-6 win over Jamie Schneider (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Sasktel Tankard, Jacobson take home 7.150 world rankings points, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 38.991 total points. Jacobson ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.575 points earned so far this season.
