To advance to the championship game, Dacey won 7-4 over Kevin Saccary (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2014 Atlantic Curling Tour Championship in Halifax, Nova Scotia;
 
Dacey finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dacey defeated Mike Flemming (Halifax, NS) 8-2, then won 8-7 against Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) and 4-2 against Doug MacKenzie (Halifax, NS). Dacey won 6-1 against Jamie Danbrook (Halifax , NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Atlantic Curling Tour Championship Championship title, Dacey earned 4.600 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 34.325 total points. Dacey ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.100 points earned so far this season.
