Hellsten went on to lose 8-7 against Malmi. Hellsten responded with a 6-5 win over Puustinen. Hellsten won 10-4 against Norri in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Finnish Women's Championship, Hellsten take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 49 spots the World Ranking Standings into 139th place overall with 4.625 total points. Hellsten ranks 148th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
