In their opening game, Twitchell lost 16-4 to Madison Bear (Wayland, MA), then responded with a 14-5 win over Ellen Schoder (Ardsley, NY). Twitchell went on to lose 13-2 against Elizabeth Cousins (Wayland, MA). Twitchell responded with a 12-6 win over Schoder. Twitchell went on to lose 11-9 against Cousins. Twitchell lost 10-3 to Bear in their final qualifying round match.
