Love went on to lose 9-6 against Cody Tanaka (Abbotsford, BC). Love responded with a 7-3 win over Matthew Schiman (Vernon, BC). Love won 12-2 against Jonathan Loeppky (Prince Rupert, BC). Love went on to lose 10-5 against Henderson. Love responded with a 8-7 win over Zane Bartlett (Grand Forks, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
