Smith responded with a 7-3 win over Carina McKay-Saturnino (Inuvik, NT). Smith went on to lose 8-7 against Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB). Smith lost 6-4 to Mary Fay (Chester, NS) where Smith responded with a 10-4 win over Sadie Pinksen (Iqaluit, NU). Smith won 6-5 against Krysta Burns (Sudbury, NONT), then won 7-5 against Bailey Horte (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.
