Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) won 6-4 over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Weatherford Curling Classic, held November 27 - 30, 2015 at the Estevan Curling Club in Estevan, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Heidt won 6-2 over Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC) in the semifinals of the 2015 Weatherford Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-1 over Scott Bailey (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Heidt finished 3-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt lost 7-2 to Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 6-3 win over Ryan Deis (Fox Valley, SK). Heidt went on to lose 7-5 against Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK). Heidt responded with a 7-4 win over Scott Bitz (Regina, SK). Heidt won 7-4 against Mark Walter (Estevan, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Weatherford Curling Classic Championship title, Heidt earned 28.457 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 44th place overall with 92.832 total points. Heidt ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.649 points earned so far this season.
