In their opening game, Jones defeated Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON) 7-5, then won 11-2 against Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) and 7-4 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Jones won 9-3 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL), then won 8-7 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN) and 9-3 against Lauren Mann (Montreal , QC). Jones went on to lose 9-6 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS). Jones responded with a 9-6 win over Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB). Jones won 10-3 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 6-3 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) and 10-5 against Sweeting in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Jones earned 45.000 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 34.14 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jones ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 207.325 points earned so far this season.
