Jim Cotter (Vernon/Kelowna, BC) won 7-6 over Dean Joanisse (Richmond, BC) in the Final of the CDI BC Mens Championship, held February 4 - 8, 2015 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada.
 
Cotter finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter defeated Daniel Wenzek (New Westminster, BC) 8-5, then won 5-4 against Ken McArdle (Richmond, BC) and 10-9 against Joanisse. Cotter won 5-3 against Tom Buchy (Kimberley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the CDI BC Mens Championship Championship title, Cotter earned 8.000 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Cotter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cotter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
