Brown finished 8-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Debbie McCormick (Rio, WI) 8-5, then won 12-6 against Lank and 7-5 against Aileen Sormunen (Blaine, USA). Brown won 12-2 against Kimberly Wapola (St. Paul, MN), then won 8-3 against Kate Bert (St. Paul, MN) and 8-5 against Joyance Meechai (Ardsley, NY). Brown went on to lose 7-3 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). Brown responded with a 9-3 win over Jordan Moulton (St. Paul, MN). Brown won 6-1 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the USA Women's National Championship Championship title, Brown earned 22.500 world rankings points, moving up 27 spots the World Ranking Standings into 33rd place overall with 44.923 total points. Brown ranks 28th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.775 points earned so far this season.
