Carruthers went on to lose 8-7 against Mark Kean (Fenelon Falls, ON). Carruthers lost 8-7 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Carruthers lost 5-2 to Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
