Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI) lost 5-3 to Marc Pfister (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the Swiss Curling Championship, held February 14 - 21, 2015 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
 
Michel finished 9-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Michel defeated Pfister 6-5, then won 8-2 against Kevin Wunderlin (Biel, SUI) and 6-5 against Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI). Michel won 9-3 against Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI), then won 6-4 against Yves Hess (Zug, SUI) and 6-4 against Attinger. Michel won 4-1 against Hess, then won 7-6 against Pfister. Michel went on to lose 7-5 against De Cruz. Michel responded with a 6-5 win over Wunderlin in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling Championship, Michel take home 5.050 world rankings points, remaining in 12th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.049999999999983 after improving upon their best so far this season. Michel ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 105.830 points earned so far this season.
