Paetz finished 9-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paetz defeated Michele Jaggi (Berne, SUI) 9-3, then won 6-5 against Melanie Barbezat (Biel, SUI) and 10-3 against Nora Baumann (Uitikon, SUI). Paetz won 8-7 against Tirinzoni. Paetz went on to lose 8-6 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Paetz responded with a 7-6 win over Tirinzoni. Paetz won 6-5 against Feltscher, then won 4-3 against Jaggi and 7-3 against Baumann. Paetz won 5-4 against Barbezat in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Swiss Curling Championship Championship title, Paetz earned 13.360 world rankings points, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.36 after improving upon their best so far this season. Paetz ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 108.200 points earned so far this season.
