Aitken went on to lose 6-4 against Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO). Aitken responded with a 9-3 win over Murray. Aitken went on to lose 7-3 against Gray. Aitken lost 10-3 to Muirhead where Aitken responded with a 6-3 win over Smith. Aitken went on to lose 10-5 against Fleming in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Championships, Aitken take home 2.760 world rankings points, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 92nd place overall with 11.118 total points. Aitken ranks 74th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.760 points earned so far this season.
