In their opening game, Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller defeated Korea's Ki Jeong Lee 7-6, then won 7-4 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) and 14-3 against Robert-Kent Pall (Tallinn, EST). Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller won 7-1 against Gaute Nepstad (Oslo, NOR), then won 6-5 against Ethan Meyers (Minneapolis, USA) and 7-4 against Amos Mosaner (Trentino, ITA). Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller won 7-3 against Artur Ali (Moscow, RUS). Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller went on to lose 5-3 against Calvert. Switzerland's Yannick Schwaller lost 8-2 to Sweden's Fredrik Nyman in their final qualifying round match.
