Ogasawara went on to lose 9-6 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Ogasawara lost 8-5 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, CAN) where Ogasawara responded with a 10-5 win over Daniela Driendl (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Ogasawara earned 12.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 21st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 84.826 total points. Ogasawara ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 65.550 points earned so far this season.
