Touri Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) finished 4-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koana defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Nagano, JPN) 10-1, then went on to lose 6-4 against Masami Fujii (Nayaro, JPN). Koana lost 9-8 to Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN). Koana lost 7-5 to Japan's Rina Ida where Koana responded with a 9-6 win over Touka Furuta (Kitami, JPN). Koana won 13-5 against Emi Sato (Kyoto, JPN), then won 9-5 against Mari Motohashi (Aomori, JPN). Koana went on to lose 8-3 against Natsuki Saitou (Aomori, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Koana earned 2.600 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Japan Curling Championships, moving up 137 spots the World Ranking Standings into 177th place overall with 2.600 total points. Koana ranks 141st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.600 points earned so far this season.
