Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) won 7-4 over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in the Final of the Mercure Perth Masters, held January 7 - 10, 2016 in Perth, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 6-1 over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2016 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland; and won 7-1 over Craig Brown (Blaine, USA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland;
 
Koe finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Rasmus Wrana (Harnosand, SWE) 6-3, then won 9-2 against Markus Hoiberg (Oppdal, NOR) and 8-2 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Koe won 6-1 against David Murdoch (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Mercure Perth Masters Championship title, Koe earned 48.378 world rankings points along with the $13,356CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 25.311 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 452.489 points earned so far this season.
