Brewster went on to lose 5-2 against Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI). Brewster responded with a 6-5 win over Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER). Brewster won 4-3 against Markus Hoiberg (Oppdal, NOR), then won 5-3 against Rantamaki and 3-2 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Brewster earned 20.733 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Mercure Perth Masters.
