To advance to the championship game, Muirhead won 11-7 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden; and won 8-0 over Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden;
 
Muirhead finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead lost 7-5 to Cissi Ostlund (Karlstad, SWE), then responded with a 9-3 win over Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Muirhead won 8-5 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI), then won 6-4 against Isabella Wrana (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
