Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 7-5 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Stockholm Ladies Cup, held September 25 - 27, 2015 in Stockholm, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 8-7 over Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2015 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden; and won 6-4 over Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden;
Homan finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau PwC, SUI) 7-2, then won 7-3 against Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch, GER) and 6-2 against Un-Chi Gim (gyeonggido, KOR). Homan went on to lose 7-6 against Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stockholm Ladies Cup Championship title, Homan earned 65.678 world rankings points along with the $15,754CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 564.535 total points. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 190.375 points earned so far this season.
