Rudstrom finished 1-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rudstrom lost 5-2 to Victorya Moiseeva (Moscow, RUS), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) where Rudstrom responded with a 5-3 win over Santa Blumberga (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Riga International Challenge, Rudstrom take home 12.786 world rankings points along with the $2,176CDN prize, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 64th place overall with 43.539 total points. Rudstrom ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.786 points earned so far this season.
