To advance to the championship game, Stjerne won 6-5 over Jia Liang Zang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2015 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over Ontario's Dustin Montpellier in the quarterfinals.

Stjerne finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stjerne defeated Daryl Shane (Waterloo, ON) 6-4, then won 6-2 against Gary McCullough (Thornhill, ON) and 8-5 against Dennis Moretto (Woodbridge, ON). Stjerne won 7-4 against Ontario's Ian Dickie in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, Stjerne take home 15.908 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN prize, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 61.788 total points. Stjerne ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.150 points earned so far this season.
