To advance to the championship game, Maus won 5-4 over Ian MacAulay (Huntley Curling Club, ON) in the semifinals of the 2015 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-3 over Mike Harris (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada;
 
Maus finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maus defeated New York's Brandon Corbett 5-4, then won 10-2 against Ontario's Travis Belchior and 8-1 against Ontario's Dustin Montpellier. Maus won 8-3 against Jon St. Denis (Stouffville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel Championship title, Maus earned 20.247 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 87.068 total points. Maus ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 51.297 points earned so far this season.
